It has been a long time coming, and I’ve been waiting for you…welcome to Malapseu.

The other day I was reading an archived blog post by the actress turned Duchess, Meghan Markle, from her former blog: The Tig. She talked about what led her to launching her blog when she did (it had something to do with Coco Chanel and the number 5); but it got me thinking, whatever the reason, Cinco de Mayo is as good a day as any to honour one’s word to themselves to finally take that step to writing more.

And if this process somehow leads me to finding my own prince, then who am I to object to the method. ;)

So. Here’s to new beginnings. To moments of gratitude. To serendipity.
